"Frottage" is an artistic technique, consisting of placing some paper over any rough surface then rubbing it with pencils or pastels, to recreate the impression of its texture. For some reason the default model when asked to does not generate a meaningful effect. A large number of interesting effects can be achieved - blending from surreal to pure abstraction.
